Double Standards

In view of the Wagstaff case I saw this and it’s beyond belief the double standards with this case

I quote
‘A man who drove for more than 40 years without a full licence before he caused a fatal crash on the M4 motorway has been given a suspended jail term’

Think this needs a review

Almost a carbon copy. He should go down for a considerable time. I wonder if the cycle owner was charged with having an insecure load? And, yet again, a vehicle stops in the live lane. The current driving test is just not rigorous enough. Nor is the enforcement sufficient. In the region of 2,500-3,000 people are killed on our roads every year with tens of thousands injured, many with life changing injuries. Better than most countries but it hardly seems like grounds for self congratulation.

We live in a time where people are getting suspended sentences for robbing old people and beating them back and blue, yet those fiddling a few grand in tax are being sent to prison.

Nothing surprises me anymore.

Well that’s because the judiciary and MP’s grow up and live in areas where their wealth and background tends to insulate them from being beaten black and blue but woe betide anyone who nicks their dough!
