Hi Folks

Double manning with an analogue tacho.

Driver #1 goes in slot #1 and Driver #2 goes in slot #2. Right? Good.

Now, when we swap driving over, do I:

a. Physically swap the two discs over in the holder or
b. Just press the buttons to put #1 at POA/Rest and #2 on Otherwork/Drive

I do ‘a’. I have done this because even though I have done the requisite with the buttons the 1st tacho in the draw, the one that gets marked, stays being marked and the one underneath is clear. Thus indicating #1 has done loooooads of work :unamused: :unamused:

Do we swap the cards over, physically, too? or do as I gave above in ‘a’ :unamused: :unamused:

Had a bit of a tiff today with the ‘other driver’ over this. The ‘a’ option is how I was taught many moons ago. :blush: :unamused:

simple answer you’re correct.

analogues - swap the chart positions number 1 is always the driver number 2 always the co-driver. Speed distance and ‘driving activity’ will only be recorded on chart in number 1 position

digital - swap the cards. Slot 1 is the driver and slot 2 the co-driver. Driving activity is only recorded to the card in slot 1.
