Hi,
First time double manning tomorrow, and just curious. I’m going to be driving first, so will have my card in slot one of the tachograph. When I’m no longer driving, and in the passenger seat, do we have to swap the cards over, so my card would be in slot 2?
I’ve tried browsing around, and can only find info about analogue tachograph and the one I’ll be using is digital.

Yes.
Driving seat = slot one.
T’other seat = slot two.

As has been said the drivers card goes in slot 1 and the passengers card goes in slot 2, and you change them over when you change drivers so the drivers card is always in slot 1 and the passengers card is always in slot 2.
Slot 2 automatically changes to POA when the vehicle is moving, so when you’re sat in the passenger seat with your card in slot 2 the first 45 minutes of POA will be counted as break.
