Double manning tachograph question

Hi,

First time double manning tomorrow, and just curious. I’m going to be driving first, so will have my card in slot one of the tachograph. When I’m no longer driving, and in the passenger seat, do we have to swap the cards over, so my card would be in slot 2?

I’ve tried browsing around, and can only find info about analogue tachograph and the one I’ll be using is digital.

Yes, put it in slot 2.
If you intend to do work while card in slot 2 (ie, if you have to stop for a delivery), switch the tacho to other work.
Once the vehicle moves off again, it’ll go to poa again.
