Double Man Lanarkshire/Glasgow - Who To Approach

Now that I’ve got the class 1 under my belt I’m looking at where to go for work.

My father in law has near 30 years experience as a class 1 driver and is wanting us to go as a 2 man crew for double man work. I’m very happy to do this as it gives me someone I get on well with as experience alongside me.

Does anyone know the best companies in Lanrkshire and Glasgow area to approach for this kind of gig?

I think all the major parcel companies do double-manned trunking work down to the big hubs in Birmingham, Burton-upon-Trent etc - they couldn’t guarantee getting down and back up in 9hrs with just one driver. Don’t know any local names but try TNT, Tufnell’s, DPD and the local franchises for TPN, PalletForce and the like.
