DORTMUND ---A40 to B54 CLOSED

This is a bit late may be for some of you DUE to ROAD
WORKS ;the A40 from Dortmund–West Kreuz (were the A40 & A45 Junction
is) is CLOSED all the way to the B54 :Comeing from Bochum–Essen and
is closed also from the other Direction when you enter Dortmund from the
direction of Kassel.Unna— , This closure will REMAIN in place for the following
Times yes TIMES

Friday 28.10. 20:00 hr bis Tuesday 01.11. 17:00 hr
Saturday 05.11. 20:00 hr bis Monday 07.11. 05:00 hr
Friday 11.11. 20:00 hr bis Monday 14.11. 05:00 hr

At the same time the following junction/entry points to the B1 are also closed
Dorstfeld in direction of Unna
Dortmund-Barop in the direction of Unna
Lindemann Straße in the direction of Bochum
Wittekindstraße in direction of Bochum
Die exit of the B 54 from Dortmund-Center for Bochum.

YOU WOULD BE advised to divert well before the closure as the traffic
If you use Google map and put traffic in it will show you were jams are and show also
the roads around Dortmund if you have problems give us a shout okay .
FOR the MODS can we put this as a sticky until the road works closure has finished
may help out those heading through DORTMUND;; ta very much :slight_smile:

Definetely worth taking note if your company is stingy like my old lot were and you have to get your Maut ticket manually at a pay point!

THE Road Closure will be in Force another TWO times
this month as posted above worth keeping up the top I thought :slight_smile:

Glad to be of help ,., plus the long term looks bleak , as well when they start
even more major road works . on the A40 some time in the next year or two
that will bring even more problems and heavy traffic jams , will post as soon as
I have concrete news as to the start of these when its published over here

Just bumping it back to the top as the next weekend is the last
time it will be closed so for any using this route worth avoiding in
the time and dates mentioned ,
