Done the FIMO or FCO in France?

Hello from a newbie in sunny France (where it’s peeing it down :wink: )

Have any of you done the training in France? how did you find it? did you get by with your french?

Any stories or advice would be welcome

I have done the full FIMO here in France. It is one month long, two written exams of 40 and 20 questions (multi choice IIRC). 11 hours driving, continually assessed, all noted in a log book by the instructor. I thoroughly enjoyed it, most of it really interesting taught by relevantly qualified people. If your french language skills are suspect, I think it would be very hard to follow.

Thanks for the reply Héraultais, my french isn’t too bad although i’m not fluent, i speak french 80% of the time as i don’t know many english people over here… i imagine the fimo is more strict over here too.

Yes, anyone who moans about the DCPC in the Uk really doesn’t know how good they have got it!
