Well, I’ve been driving on a casual basis for the last few years and been thinking about returning full time for quite a while. I’ve finally bit the bullet and put my notice in at my office job and return to full time driving on 02/01/2013!
Who needs a Mon-Fri 37 hour a week, 33 days holiday + bank holidays office job anyway… :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Its done now and really looking forward to 4 on 4 off tramping, may work more hours but a hell of a lot more time off. And hopefully more money to boot. :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Seriously though mate, I was a network engineer back in 1993 - 1998 which I jacked to become a bin man :open_mouth:

I just couldn’t stand being inside anymore, same faces all the time, attitudes over the phone, phone calls when on holiday etc.

Do I regret it? Yep, quite often . Would I change the decision if I was back there, NOPE. I am who I am because of past choices, and I’m quite happy with who I am :sunglasses:
