Look for the Woodlands sit in cafe in the lay by at A1 Newtonmore north of Berwick, excellent food, very clean, and reasonable priced.

Newton aycliffe is a decent spot, but when I used to use it a few years ago, it got filled up earlyish, I wouldn’t wanna be short on time and relying on getting a space in there as it’s not the biggest place you’ll ever visit.
leaving yard early weds so hopefully once I’ve delivered nr bromsgrove I can get to donny early pm load and be away by 3pm and head north…best laid plans and all that

If it’s where I think you mean why go to McDs when there is a good cafe on there that does really good meals for a fiver and the guy adds that fiver on your parking ticket.

Or you could push on to Edinburgh Truckstop where it’s secure,quiet,few minutes walk into town and have a lie in in the morning

I just assumed, load in the morning,dawdle up the A1 to Edinburgh. Can’t be that far from Doncaster - can it?
More info needed, leave yard in hants early weds, tip in worcs then head donny, load= 2hrs ish then head north for del in Edinburgh 9-12 thurs
