Hi Hodgy67,
I hauled to the old Moreton Valance airfield when they were building the last stretch of the M5 in 1970/71,the contractors working on the motorway had a tarmac plant there,we hauled the stone down from the Gore quarry on the Welsh Border.
I can remember some lorries, but no names.
Cheers Dave.

did they have anything to do with robins of bristol that used to collect gkns,i reloaded from them a few times about 10 yrs ago.they had bright yellow dafs, and a foden alpfa, the last time i saw one of their trucks collecting gkns was at kwiksave w/boro,so they certainly got around abit.
I use to work for this firm in the late 80’s till the early 90’s.
The firm was run by the old man Don and his to lads Donald Jnr. and Geof.
It was just off Jct 12 of the M5 in the now flattened site that was called the Bilton Cargo Centre.
It also had 2 other companies that traded from there Printwaste and P&R International.
Printwaste had a old 7.5 tonne Beford TK this company is still going run by Don’s lads.
As for the fleet they had the cargo see pic my 1st truck when I started there before I passed my class 1.
also a few Daf 2100’s a 1900 that was on contract up in hudersfield but at the end of the contract came back to Gloucester to work from.
A 2300 or was it a 2500? on a S plate that was a dog to drive
and a couple 2800’s when I left there were 3 2800’s a couple of Leyland clydesdale’s
and a maggie air cooled 4 legger.
Also a old erf as a shunter NO power sterring on that old girl lol.
I hope this is of some help.
