Doh!

Been on break for 3 hours need to do a 9

Got up for a pee, checked tacho just to see how long was on break.

And accidentally ejected the bloody thing.

Does my break have to restart from Ejection? Or do the previous 3hours 10 mins still count providing I don’t do anything or put my card back in for the next 5hours 50 mins? Totally my reduced 9

And do a manual entry from when I ejected the card saying those 5hoirs 50 where break?

Ta!

Accidents happen, done it myself./ I’d just put it back in and make sure itgoes straight back to break./

Safer leaving it ejected.

Im far from an expert on tacho working but if I had just done what youve done id leave the card out and put it back in when im ready to start back at work and do a manual entry of break from last ejection till the current time. That time plus the new manual entry time will show your 9 hours. Then take a printout and write on the back you accidently ejected card.
Either that or stanley your card and burn the truck.

Looks like I have no choice

Burn the truck it is!

Gonna leave card out untill morning.

Do your own thing obviously but if you do put it back, do what the Snowman has said about a printout. Do one at the start of the next day with an explanation on the back as to accidentally ejecting it. Neither way will be assumed as suspicious, as the truck hasn’t actually moved.

FYI

when I put my card back in and did a manual entry
When I checked how long I’d been on break it has toteled it up

Showing 9hoirs 13mins
