Do hope you were doing 39.9 mph and not a smidgen faster or the whiter than white, can do no wrong, we dont speed brigade will be on your case, also I note the headlight bulb has blown on the front, fit the spare and carry on with the drops, theres a good lad…
Serious, hope yer OK Dog, there by the grace Ive never hd one like that, so cant comment on the shock factor, but dont dwell on things too much, its happened, you are good as can be and the truck, well its a Scania, so fingers crossed you will get a decent DAF now.
jeezas dog,you were very lucky to walk away from that man,so was the tractor driver.metal can be replaced, lives cannot.pleased your ok.
at least you can ask for a daf now!!.
Glad your ok Dog.
As everyone else say’s hope your back in the saddle soon chap the sooner the better just dont let it worry you too much chap.
Take it easy
i know you said you werent keen on the new wagon but do you not think thats a bit extreme just to get a DAF■■? if you do lose your job you could always go into banger racing.
seriously though glad youre ok mate and no serious injuries to any party. hope it all gets sorted and youre back on the road soon mate, where will trucknet be without the lads doing the diaries!
by the luck of it you were lucky to walk away from that, what lottery numbers you doing tomorrow?
It looks like there was little or no lighting on the rear of the trailer, bloody farmers get away with murder with their tractors. Some of the junk you see on the road is a disgrace, trailers that look as if they will fall apart any moment, dropping crap everywhere.
Then you get the “agricultural contractor” using a tractor and plant trailer to move a 14t excavator around on, or a Unimog pulling a load of hay taking work away from the haulage industry doing so whilst only having a car licence and running on red.
I hope this get’s sorted and you come out of this next part unscathed too. Good luck mate.
