Took my sharpei pup to a drop at B.A.E Warton months back … no dogs allowed on site …! had to leave my £650 pup in the gatehouse while i tipped.
That security gaurd was ok … cant say that for all of them though some are utter idiots.
If the pup is secured to the seat by harness/ leash it should not matter as long as they cannot escape !!!
apparently they had an alsation running loose up the airstrip once as it had escaped from a truck…on a delivery.

Used to take my stafy with me until the smell got to bad, but since I’ve started using Sure for Men maybe he will want to come with me again!!
Used to take my dog occasionally until it got fed up with me putting it’s name on the tacho chart - didn’t like nights out much either!
Got two now, which I would love to take, but conditions don’t suit too well.
One dog is inclined to sit on your head, which isn’t very safe.
Had my two dogs in the car the other day, my favourite one got caught short
and did a megga amount of poop in the back of the car by accident. The smell was so bad that both dogs jumped into the passener footwell, by the wife’s feet
We had to wind both windows down, 'cause the smell was so bad!! I was driving with my head stuck through the window, nearly threw up at the smell - like nothing on earth. Dog looked at me aplogetically and wagged it’s tail, so I forgave it.
Irish driver picking up at the depot where I work the other week, had a lad with him about 12 yrs.
Not allowed on site, so poor kid standing on kerb outside in rain for about an hour, not allowed in security cabin and nowhere to shelter.
Used to take my son all over with me, only place I had trouble was at ICI near Blackpool, ditto the dog took her all around the country.
Not nowadays though, bosses at present company complain if you ■■■■ in the cab

I’ve seen livestock trucks where the driver carries a dog - they usually stink like a dog kennel and are covered in hair and mud
I’ve seen livestock drivers like that too!
No dogs allowed on our site since we manufacture animal feeds.
Get enough dogs on farms anyway, as Denis will testify they’re inevitably Collies of some description, and either young and mental or so bloody old you think they’re going to expire any minute; and they’re always plastered in cowshit!
One of our customers near Swansea kept a rather tetchy Alsatian as a guard dog; never used to bother us drivers as a rule but one of our less popular temps startled it one day and it bit him.
Best comment I heard when the story got round; “Told you he’s a ****, even the dogs hate him!”
