In Germany many firms do not allow pets into their premises
you may have problems, plus for RETURNING to the UK a blood test
is required I believe,PLUS NOT EVERY ferry will take them, and I
BELIVE THEY are not allowed on the Shuttle, read this

HOPE the 3 links are a help, do belive it would be too much hassle and
stress for you and the dog mate,

Sorry Pete you have got it wrong there, the dog must go to the vet 24 hours before the sailing and no later than 48 hours before arrival in UK, the dog must have been Frontline,d and wormed by the vet who will write this in the dogs passport.
Our dog before she died last year filled up 4 passports.

You cannot take a dog onto the freight trains at Eurotunnel, only on the passenger service.

From the UK to France there is no charge, but from France into the UK they charge €45 just to check it’s passport and scan the chip (which you have to do yourself, they won’t go near the dog).

They are allowed on P&O Calais-Dover,but have to stay in the vehicle or be put into an on-board kennel.Again, this is for passenger travel, not freight.

It’s an expensive business taking the dog with us to the UK,as well as the €45,the vet charges us around €60.

does that mean you two have found a job now? good news if you have

Eyup Welshboy. Naa no luck yet but we’re keeping the rain forest destroyers in busyness with all the cv’s we’re sendin out.
