Hi all, I see Patrick White is still operating (or his name is) Is he still doing tyres out of Wolverhampton or is he on general now? I did some loads for him out to Turkey when the Turks were on strike, loading back for Alison Moss. Doe’s he still use Kiwi drivers?
Gavin

Hi Gavin

Them photos were in 2004 and im sure he is still going. Maybe some one else on here will no more tho. Last i heard he was still in the Daventry area

Hi Gavin
A pal of mine Gordon H is working for patrick white just now they have been taking combines out to russia. I dont know how many trucks he has at the moment. gordon was at gilders and wullie lambie glasgow area . I think patrick does a lot out to russia.
Cheers Al

Hi Al

Glad to hear Gordon still dodging away. Im sure he used to be a subbie with PJ at one time.
He will be well chuffed to be back doing the east again no doubt

Hi Colin
Gordon had a white daf 95 for a while and was a subbie to patrick cant remember when that was but i think he ended up going to drive for wullie lambie.I havent seen gordon for a while his son works for wullie running fish to italy. gordons always happy if hes driving to faraway places he was never happy just doing europe.
Cheers Al :astonished:

i’m fairly sure both drivers on patrick’s remaining motors are polish, employed by him through his farm(s) in poland - most of what he does these days is his own traffic, being a BIG dealer in ag machinery, new as well as used - no kiwis for a long time, think andrew kinney was the final one and he went home years ago

Hi there
I spoke with Gordons brother at christmas and he said gordon was driving for patrick running tractors and combine out to russia.
Cheers Al

The last drivers i seen in his trucks were Polish but im sure Gordon could pass as being one!!

Hi Couldn’t those Kiwi’s ever cover some ground? Load Wolverhampton then the first time that their head touched a pillow would be the bottom end of Czech maybe again in Bulgy and then while they were clearing and then tipping near Izmit, then back load wine in Bulgy back to UK - no woman to distract them so straight back out!!!
Gavin

Andrew the kiwi had a fear of stopping coz he was that tight he wouldnt buy a round!!!

Colin,

not sure if you’ve seen this link before, but there’s a bit of info in there about routes and planned development
