Does an l reg fl10 have a night heater?

A lorry that age would probably have one fitted as an extra, if it doesn’t have a working one tell the guy you want to go into digs at night.
I seem to recall it was made law that if a driver was required to have nights out in the cab it must have heating just as it must have a proper bunk at least 36 inches from the steering wheel.

As suggested by some others here … Run the engine.

NIGHT HEATER !!! In my day son you were lucky if you had a seat. Kids today, ask your mum for a vest and some gloves.

but times have changed we dnt live in the past , and I had a e reg fl10 fitted with a night heater and if it broke it was fixed I wouldn’t do a night away if it wasn’t working , we dnt get paid enough to suffer in cold…

my god don’t some of you talk rubbish ! i don’t need a vest or gloves thank’s.i wear shorts 365 day’s a year. just wondered if it had a night heater.if you don’t know don’t bother to reply

Did you do the job then.

I would drive a nail for the right money. Get about the work if you’re short of it. Night heater is nice to have but if it was work for this bloke or do nothing (or agency work) I’d be after it like a cut cat

I had a L reg FL10 and it had a nightheater

Don’t worry about the heater lad,by the time you’ve got to aberdeen and done yer drops had a few pints ya will be too shagged out too worry about heat

What the f@@& happened to when men drove lorries. Can’t need the work that much if a night heater is the first thing your worried about, and everyone wonders why the job is the way it is.

Couldn’t agree more with you!

This, and a good sleeping bag, to many pansies driving lorries today.

Sounds like the chance to drive a proper lorry (again?) go for it. All that sparkles isn’t gold.

It’s not even cold at night now…Why worry?

I drive in North America and dont have a night heater :unamused: . Recently we got blasted with a harsh winter, temps down to -40c regular, couple times touching -60c :open_mouth: :open_mouth: . Just run the motor on a high idle if it gets too cold and you havent got a heater!
