Documentary on the Swedish Sisters

Remember this happening ? heres the full story that couldn’t all be told at the time.

In 2008, BBC cameras filmed two Swedish sisters throwing themselves into traffic on the M6. When it was shown on BBC One, nearly 7 million viewers were glued to their screens, and millions more watched it later on YouTube.
But this amazing footage was only part of an even more incredible story, one which could not be told at the time for legal reasons.

Now, two years later, this documentary reveals the full story of the hours just before the cameras captured that motorway footage, and the even more chilling story of what happened over next 72 hours, which left one of the sisters fleeing the scene of a crime, after she had stabbed a man through the chest.

Yea I watched that … truly disturbing stuff .

There was one comical bit --at 6min 50 secs --when the copper turns to his colleague and asks “Are they Irish?”.  Some pair them Twinnie Swedish Nutters. :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

After watching the rest of it, I have to wonder why someone so obviously crackers , was let free to commit a murder, after just one day in prison, for the motorway incident . It certainly cost that guy his life. Seeing as how she is now due for release next year, well maybe hear more about these two. :imp:

Bloody Hell!! I felt sick to the pit of my stomach, when she ran for the lorry. Poor driver,my heart went out to him.

■■■■■■ ■■■■■■■ from Hell seems a more appropriate title.

Saw this too ,woman had more lives than a cat when she jumps off the bridge and still survives couldn’t believe what I was seeing

Did anyone notice the fake skidding noise they used for the truck stopping? In one clip you han hear the truck skid to a stop, then later on they show it again and there’s no skidding.

It made very interesting veiwing, I wonder they are both up to nowadays?

I saw it when it was on one of the those police programmes and it brought back horrible memories of when I was on the railway and watched somebody fall underneath a moving train

The killer sister is in prison, due for release next year, believe it or not. :unamused:

The sister hit by the artic went back home to the States.

On reading the op there was no way i was going to watch a 50min film, but it was mindblowing once you start watching it you have to see it through, how the sisters survived been hit on the motorway is unbeleivable, the only problem is there is no logical reason why what happened did…if you have a spare 50 min watch it…

What made me laugh was the HATO patrol car on the hard shoulder with siren blaring. Our cars dont have sirens!

Well it still sends shudders down my spine seeing that nutter run out in front of the artic. Good to know that stopping the M6 for 6 hours and assaulting a police officer only gets you a day in prison. Then stabbing a man to death gets you 3 years :unamused:

So she’ll be out next year without any supervision with the expert on that show saying she has a 33% chance of snapping again. Makes you proud to be british.

What a ■■■■■■■ joke our system is!

You got to hand to the old fella hato after the nutter belts the cop and runs into the other side of the motorway - he goes chasing. Crazy or brave i don’t know but at least he has balls.

Have to agree with that. Very sad for Glen’s family and friends.

Since one of the sisters had been living in Ireland for some time she’d probably picked up an Irish accent ?

Shocking stuff & a real insight into our justice system ; the whole shebang is on the point of collapse !
Those gals were tough ■■■■■■■ that ran a coach & horses thru the legal system.
Beware of of tall Swedish blonde’s…

The cops were wholly responsible for the actions after they arrived… they were more interested in being film stars than doing their jobs.

They should have arrested them immediatley, as they were clearly nutters for walking down a motorway!

The fat woman copper was clearly not fit to be driving a motorway cop car…she could hardly run.

Yeah, to be fair the camera must have affected the cops behaviour also the fact that even an arrest for a serious offence is treated by the PC battalion as an inconvenience to the ‘victims’ that has to be rectified ASAP. It must be very disheartening to catch a crim redhanded for murder & then see them given piffling sentences. No wonder they go thru the motions from 9 to 5 just planning for their early retirement?
