Here’s one from an earlier period showing a BRS Queensferry Depot Octopus being loaded at Mostyn Dock on the Dee Estuary. Has anyone else got any pictures of transport taken at Mostyn ?
Any info/ photos on old Flintshire and Chester area haulage firms always welcome.

Some great pics! I’m fascinated by all this sort of stuff. I’ve had a couple of weekends in Canary Wharf over the last couple of years (to see little iddy-biddy Prince, and to go to a comedy club), and just love walking around the place, it’s such a strange feeling walking around all the new and renovated buildings knowing what used to go on there. Never had a chance to visit the museum though (THIS ONE), anyone else been there? Maybe have to take a look next time.
Quality, I love the old Pool shots especially.

dreva.i dont think the industies have died, its just more organised with containers,or some would say organised chaos, imagine todays exports
but without the containers the dock traffic would be horrendous
