I’m writing a book about my childhood on Islay in the 1960s.
Two of the first ever artics on the island with the new ro-ro ferries in 1968 were Dobsons of Edinburgh with flatbed loaded with barrels, and Kelman of Turriff with first ever bulk barley trailer.
I would love to have a photo of each company lorries from the era. I have found some on the Internet already but copyright law says I have to have the photo owner’s permission. If anyone can point me in the right direction I’d be grateful. Thanks
