If its the ones who run out of Kepak in Wakefield its neither of those mentioned. The are a small company, 6 trucks, from Northern Ireland run by a chap called Pat Campbell. Have a couple of friends who work for him. Great looking trucks with all the bells and whistles but dont think money is anything to write home about and they work hard. Do UK - France, lots of Rungis Market. Seems like a decent chap to work for.
Just on a side note, if anybody wants to come and do European work for an Irish company with good trucks and money, be aware, you’ll be working hard! Still amazes me that a lot of British drivers come over expecting the truck and the money and a easy life. It wont happen.
Just watched the replay of the motorway cops programme, it was a Pole working for Campbells Ireland who tried to pull the old bone meal excuse with no log book. He was done for being way over hours and failure to keep records.
White and Blue Topliners (could have been red but will have to watch it back to confirm it.)

There are exemptions and national derogations to EU tacho rules. Although he was exempt from EU tacho rules because of what he was shifting (supposedly on that previous day), he was obliged to keep a written record of hours worked under UK Domestic Hours rules. That’s where he came a cropper (if only getting a 11hr rest can be called that).
