I want more time with the fam
That’s what it’s all about.
Nobody lies there on their death bed and thinks “I wish I spent more time at work”.
You’re not mad.
Doing 2/3 weeks away at a time makes you mad. Even the European drivers don’t do that.

I think ‘dogthehunter’ said in a post before WWW try to only keep you out 2 weeks.
Please post a picture of your ‘fam’ so I can judge better.
By and large more time with your loved ones is good unless there’s any gingers in the flock. Red heads are acceptable.
If the point comes when they get sick of the sight of you a job with the odd night out a week can strike the perfect balance.
2/3 weeks away at a time is fine if you’re single, not so if you’ve a family no matter how much you like it because you have to think of them too. Also whats the point in grafting to pay for a house etc if you’re never there to appreciate it? The extra night out money doesn’t come close to compensating. Even those of us home every night work far too many hours in the job, most of us do. Too many divorces in the job because the driver is hardly ever at home. Don’t think you’re mad at all.
i didnt think I was mad I just started to question my self and its alway good to have a bit feed back
Remember kids grow up fast so no you’re definitely not insane.
Dotty D:
0Sorry lads was the best family pic I could find

The vast majority of European drivers nowadays are eastern European drivers and they spend 11+ months a year away.
Do whatever makes you happy, as life is too short.
Failing that. Do whatever doesn’t make you miserable.
