No matter how hard I try I still run wide when bouncing - I just can’t get out of the habit - Do you?
We tend to spend a fair time running solo but occasionally I do find myself taking that extra half a lane I don’t need.
What used to really catch me out was swapping between artic and 8 wheel tipper on my last job. Coming back to our yard was a tightish left turn through a set of lights. With the low loader it was a case of going deep into the junction and turning at the last minute to give the trailer a chance to clear the railing that followed the curb on the nearside. On more than one occasion while in the 8 wheelers I’ve gone deep and struggled to get enough lock on to get round.
