Do you respect/obey this sign?

Yes.

Not if it’s a tossco plobber doing 45 in the inside lane :sunglasses:

Yep, every time, paid by the hour so if somebody holds me up they are in effect putting money into my pocket.

The only thing I do differently in these stretches is that I normally set my cruise at 86kph but if a lorry is catching me I will go onto the speed limiter whilst in the confines of the stretch. Nice guy ain’t I?

The absolute truth here, yes i do respect it and comply but there was one time and the only time when an exceptionally slow lorry was literally crawling at milk float speed up the incline so i being empty along with another lorry swept past in literally seconds, there was no other traffic to obstruct at the time because we were out and back in lane in seconds, if we’d stayed behind to the top the chances were there’d be a massive bunch of traffic all piled up behind the slow motor causing a rolling road block so the sensible option was to go by.

Only if its busy. If its quiet and catching quickly i will overtake

90% of the time unless someone is going ridiculously slow and i know i can get past without causing too much of a hindrance.

This.

I obey. Many don’t which makes me wonder why they bother making these rules if they’re not enforced.

Our lot load us out of Fareham a lot, we get 26 pallets that weigh less than 3 tonne in total and many a time I come hooning up behind two dickwits at max weight side by side on that bit on the A34 North with the limit on it. I actually cringe with embarrassment when I see the 20+ cars crawling along at 20mph behind their road block.

Do they usually have a steel box on the back

Always. To speed and constantly overtake - is to cut the pay of an hourly-paid worker, so it’s a no-brainer, really.

Can’t claim to be a professional if you don’t.

An element of professionalism is judgment.

I obey that sign almost all the time.

Why wouldn’t you?.. chances are the Old Bill will be sat at the other end (using Police time to it’s full potential :unamused: ) lurking around to make a few quid out of the stressed out and the teararses… who aint got a second to spare.
So yes, I would, nothing to do with professionalism either, more self preservation and arse covering. :bulb:

Not on a Friday I don’t

So you and the other penny chasers set your CC to what, 35-40mph?
