Do you know where you are overnight?

No. Thankfully.

a valid point to know where your parked.
As for locking doors glad to see i’m not the only
who doesn’t do it

I don’t overnight in my current job, which is probably just as well really as I read the title of the post as “do you know where you are overweight”! :open_mouth:

I am surprised at the wide range of actions taken by drivers overnight, ranging from bugger all(doors unlocked) to total over kill(ratchet strapped doors/ offensive weapons, I mean tyre irons). I think like this, I don’t sleep in My house with the doors open(unlocked), so why would I in the truck, but I don’t feel the need to have any kind off weapon to hand either, so again why would I in the truck

Fairly simple rule, if some low life is going to have a go, then so be it, and deal with it when it happens, and you’d be surprised how quickly you make decisions in crisis situations, but for the most part, just be a bit sensible and sleep soundly

A Greek driver was in the UK, two men tried to rob cargo from his trailer.
One man got stabbed and later died, the driver was released without charges.
The men were on the Police radar for prolific
lorry crimes in the area.

I’m sure there was 3 of them and they had actually got into the cab. They were after nicking the truck and load. He stabbed all 3 one fatally, he was up on a murder charge but it got thrown out of court by the CPS saying he was within his rights defending himself.
All 3 were well known to the police for nicking loads and trying to steel trucks. The lads family were in uproar over the verdict, serves the scrote right in my eyes, if he didn’t go out with the intention of robbing a truck/load then he may still be alive today. Think it happens around Dudley way.
