Do you know what you've got on board>

Being a major parcel delivery firm,we transport most things from an envelope to a pallet.
Anything from chemicals,motor parts,computers,lawn mowers,tyres,office stationary,etc.
When unloading using a pump truck,I rarely notice what every parcel is,but I think that some parcels should be in a plain box!
When unloading at Chester this morning, one box in particular caught my eye,it was about 2 feet cubed and had a picture and description of the contents in red.
It was said to contain a,“Vaginal spreader”!,and gave a list of available sizes:Virgin, small, medium, and the largest you could probably back your trailer into!
Takes me back to when I was a gynocologist when a wet finger would do the same job…

I find taking them out for a meal has the same effect but a ■■■■ sight more costly. :sunglasses:

52000 lbs of liquid sugar … 99% of the time, 0.5% fructose, 0.5% corn syrup.

When I worked for Swifts all those years ago we were never sure what was on the trailer, one night someone shouted and caused a comotion and too right too … when they noticed a pallet was marked ‘Paraquat’ … one of the deadliest poisons on the planet with no known antdote. The place was shut down untill the fire brigade came and took it away, much to the annoyance of management.

I just counted yesterday, around 60 trips to spain in the last 4 years. 95% of the time the backload was groupage and some of it was god only knows what. luckily the only time I was checked by the douane was with 25 tons of kitty litter
the guardia civil did find some hard licquor instead of canned olives in pallets a coworker loaded in tordesillas once. all in all the law isn’t that interested in trucks from the north, who knows, what they could’ve found in my trailer
