After getting my licence in 94 aged 23 off I went straight onto tramping 5 nights out running from central scotland all over UK. Regulation was somewhat loose, made lots of money. I never looked back, loved it. It made me in a way. Bought a house and kind of settled.
Then lost it some years later on medical grounds. World came crashing In. F##k am I going to do now. Ended up in London working for 4 years.
Now in Nottingham and have my licence back and doing casual work tramping when I want it. And it feels good to be back behind the wheel, loving it again, christ did I miss it.
Really want to go back to it but can’t due to license restrictions(1 year at a time) it will be madness, plus where I work now the package is just too good to give up, but you never know what’s round the corner.
