Obviously you check the temp during various times of the day but if you’ve been stuck in an rdc for a while or away from the wagon for whatever reason or even unlucky enough to have a night out do you have a quick peep at the temp to make sure it hasn’t been altered in any way before you set off again ?
I had a night out once but sleeping during the day and parked at a msa in a secluded spot and woke up to find it had been turned off so it does happen, lucky all was ok.

I didn’t but it was winter and I had the sleeping gas blasting out .
I would check it any time it had been left unattended. But thats a hangover from shunting where you check the fridge every hour or so.
Always check it everytime I’m out the cab, I had it turned off in a lay-by on the A20 on Thursday night last week, and stopped in the Bus Stop outside Tesco at Ashford for 5 mins and some ■■■■■■ turned it off there too in the middle of the day! So everytime I get back into the truck I have a quick glance at it.
Only if my cans of Guinness don’t seem cold enough when i drink em. 
Check mine every time I stop. 1 of our customers is always checking the thermograph and will quite happily reject the whole load if not happy.
