I was just wondering do any drivers carry any tools about when out and about especially long journeys for minor problems?? Or is it a case of pull over and phone for help.
I carry the tools required for bulb changes, a cheap set off scanners, couple of pairs of pliers and a few screwdrivers, carry a few cable ties and a bulb kit, that’s it.

Same as + my trusty Crowbar, Tyre Inflator & extendable Pokey Stick.
Oh, & my Leatherman.
I pack an 8.5" tool and apparently I’m in the top 5% of largest tools owned by man. In the wagon though, I just have a multi tool.
Hmm, was so tempted with an eager reply then
Yes. Lots of them.
Haha How did I know I’d get some replies like that!!? I was just wondering because I work for Everest and I see some of the HGV guys coming in to a shift with a tool bag and just wondered if they ready to strip an engine if all goes wrong!
I’ve got electrical tools, cable and connectors, plus a selection of spanners, fuses and bulbs, so I can change an airline or get lights etc working if I need to - popped the red airline the other day, right outside a hgv spares place! £12 and 10 minutes later I was on my way, rather than waiting for Mercedes to come out.
When I was young fit an good lookin tramping away all week I reckon I carried enough to strip the Engine.
Now it’s a phone in the pocket as "we’re not trained or qualified "
Was going to say ‘Only if the other half insists on a lift somewhere’. Oops, just said it.
Sounds as though you’re shouldering on, Nick
Somebody mention an eager reply?
Windy gun, jacks, everything you basically need for a wagon!
