Unless you have a couple of days to spare. :unamused:

There are so many thread here, some of them many pages long, that there is no way you can read everything, so just to speed things up a little I typed in two random words ‘Eric’ and ‘Vick’ two hours later and way past my bedtime I’m still ploughing through tons of stuff.

Be Warned!!

You’d only moan if there was nothing to interest you! There’s no pleasing some folks. :unamused:

If you’re really bored type “cyclist” and “red light” should keep you going for a while

Stobart polish cyclist. That’ll do you for a week or so.

South Wales Hauliers sixties and seventies onwards. is good for 468 pages

I got side tracked into Ferrymasters. Middle East, not to mention all the ERF threads but didn’t find much from the TSAS (Twin Splitter Appreciation Society) no doubt it’s there somewhere.

This whole forum should be set up as a DCPC course in it’s own right, you’d learn a whole lot more if you spent 7 hours researching this forum than being bored sat in the back of a classroom.  :unamused:

Sadly though, nothing comes up for POA :grimacing:

There’s no need for a thread on this subject- those who have used them know their merits full well. And sadly there will be no more for the newbies to experience the wonders of the “best gearbox in the world”.
Stand by for flack from users of 13 & 15-speed Fullers !
To be serious for a moment (doesn’t happen often), there IS a thread somewhere on here dedicated to the Twin Splitter or “Twin Countershaft” as Eaton Fuller like to call it.

What’s the point of having an exclusive club that anyone can join? TSAS members of the world unite, the thumb will prove membership.

Like Marmite it was an acquired taste.

Didn’t take me long to acquire it, matey! Especially after a couple of weeks on a Renault with that bl**dy awfull 16-speed synchro thingy of theirs.
But after two-and-a-half years of glorious retirement, I’ve still got the dent on the thumb!

Me Too  , god i miss that box

And me. Managing with a 5-speed Citroen these days. Better on fuel, though!

In the E16 it was matched to about 320 horses but about 40 of those were dead so the thumb got a fair bit of work. It was one of the fastest trucks in German as I was always first in the lead going up hills, even Romanians were behind me. Then I got the EC with a 405 ■■■■■■■■ what a difference! Once up to speed I rarely had to move the stick as three clicks on the button would cope with most terrain. Dream trucking.
