Heading west bound on a14 today just before cam services noticed truck gone off road over slip road and sitting in a v shape wedged in ditch. What was odd there was a Bob tail guessing waiting to attach trailer but no recovery trucks or crane on site etc . Prob about 5 or 6 men in jeans t shirts standing around the truck. To me it looked like they pondering how to get truck out. Trailer was foreign don’t know about unit. There was a 4x4 near by think and it looked like a diy recovery. Must of happened while back as no emergency services or hato on site. Anybody any clues what they up to?
Probably the recovery firm doing a recce before deciding what kit to send to the job.

Probably the Romanians wondering how to get to the other tank and caravan dwellers wondering how to pull it out with a Pajero and weigh it in.

It happened some time around 5am as the police and traffic wombles were there about half 5 when I went past.

Very likely, seeing as there are two recovery firms in the immediate locality
Highways now saying the road is closed due to a lorry on its side in the field needing specialist recovery. Either the DIY job went wrong or there another went in.

Can’t see the chaps towing that out with a 4x4 to be honest, even if there were five or six of them.
