That’s just off top of head, may be others if I had time to google every name. So yeah take them out it is surprisingly few considering how drugged up the music industry has been.

That stands to reason as that age group represents the baby boomer generation who were the first generation to experince drugs in the mainstream. So the acceptance of drugs has become more widespread ever since.

It says marriage break ups as one of the reasons. It probably says more about same/close age marriages than baby boomers and drugs.Most of them probably woke up one day,then looked at their 50 + year old wife and thought oh zb maybe she’ll look better if I take something the stronger the better.
No doubt your 50 years old wife may also think how the ■■■■ did that young John travolta lookalike turn in to a Bernard manning lookalike.
No offence I’m sure other people on here may have thought you have taken drugs before posting

You use the word Research and The Sun in the same post. According to the latest NHS newsletter Chlamydia is still most common in under 25’s
Most of the Rock and Roll men are still shagging their way around the gigs, where many of the drivers including me are laid up with bad bones. The difference is, they could afford the drugs, lorry drivers couldn’t.

I am no angel, I have as a younger man driven drunk and luckily got away with it. I smoked from 14 years old till I reached 54 and at that point I was puffing about 60 a day then suddenly stopped one saturday, I drove around with an open pack in my cab for a month but never touched them.
I have known lots of people who take drugs beit weed, heroin or cocain and it never did anything but destroy their lives and the lives of their loved ones. One driver I knew in the 80’s smoked week as he drove and killed a couple when he hit them, it not only took away their lives he took away 25 years of his own in jail.
What really amazes me is the people who condemn smoking but puff away on a reefer that is 10 times more carsonagenic than ciggies.

Been there, done loads, had an absolutely incredibly amazing time… not gonna list everything I’ve tried as it would take too long… one day I woke up and thought ‘I need some more’ and I haven’t had any since (cept ciggies booze and caffeine)
I couldn’t give two shiney zb’s what anyone does with themselves, as long as they do it without hurting or endangering anyone else… and driving anything under the influence of anything is just the dumbest thing in the world…
I must admit though, my entire Outlook on life and the world has changed since then, and for the better too! And I put it down to the drugs I did and the situation and circumstances I did them in… and im thankful for my experiences I’ve had… but I’m happy to leave them in the past and appreciate the good times and not spend the rest of my life being a ■■■■.
