Gotta disagree with you on this, I used them to pass all 3 tests & had no issue what so ever!!

James,
I’m keeping an open mind for now, because what you’ve said is rather unlikely.
Proof IS required, and quite quickly please, otherwise I’ll have to remove this topic.

Q585: How long do I have to report an incident to the police?
It depends upon the type of incident you are reporting. This area of law is very complex so the following is a basic guide only (as there are exceptions).
Road Traffic Collisions
Reportable road traffic collisions (see questions in related information for more details) have to be reported as soon as is reasonably practicable and in any case, within twenty-four hours. Some forces may not take a report of a road traffic collision after a specified amount of time.
Minor road traffic incidents (e.g. failing to wear a seatbelt) have a time limit on prosecution so, therefore, must be reported within 6 months (e.g. failing to wear a seatbelt)
Serious road traffic incidents (e.g. dangerous driving) have no such time limit for prosecution.
from the police website askthe.police.uk/content/Q585.htm
Sorry James but only accidents where a person has been injured have to be reported within the 24 hour limit.
The document producer issued by an officer would give you 7 days from midnight on the day of the accident, normally at a police station of your choosing.
Edited to add:- I thought they were two different examples. The fact a police officer has turned up at the scene and has issued a document producer means the accident has been reoorted to the police and you wouldn’t need to attend a police station to report it.

any accident where damage is caused must be reported within 24 hours look at the explanation of the answer in the screenshot i have put on here
James,
As far as I’m aware, the answer to the actual question is that a driver has 7 days to produce insurance when asked to do so by the police, so is that answer actually wrong?
Also AFAIK, the tutorial bit isn’t looking at that question, but ‘damage’ in a wider sense.
AFAIK, the wording is something like ‘as soon as possible, but within 24hrs’ but I’ll happily stand to be corrected by a current instructor because it’s about 7yrs since I taught driver theory.
Can we take it that you’ve already used a fair process and brought this to the author’s attention AND had an unsatisfactory reply before posting “do not use” in capital letters??
You are berating that site but if I am correct then its the DSA initial driver cpc module 2 questions and theory tests questions which are in dispute
IMO - you should be contacting DSA/pearsons or whoever makes up those questions these days
I can cite from memory a Q on drivers hours …
How many time a week can a driver reduce daily rests?
The answer to that to get a pass is 3 but we know the real answer is 6
If they had asked - how many reduced daily rests allowed between weekly rests then the answer would be 3
I used this site for my module 2 and it was a massive help.
