Ok I’m probs gonna get the ■■■■ ripped out of me here but …hey.
I was listening to Mark Wright’s Club Classics on Heart.( Ok at my age I should be maybe listening to Cliff Richard but what the hell)
It got me thinking back to the 80s when we used to buy Cab Disco lights from the Middle East guys who bought them from Istanbul. They were great and used to flash different colours to the timing of the beat, while listening to the likes of… Sylvester’s ( Not the cat…you tube it ) ‘‘Do you wanna funk’’ , and ‘‘You make me feel mighty real’’. epic.
So can you still buy them anywhere, or are they a h& s issue now
I just fancied cruising down the M5 with my Disco lights pulsating to ‘‘Party Rock’’ by Lmfao, I might even get a set of decks and do a bit of scratch/ mixing while waiting to get tipped.
Anyhow, I am being serious, (well apart from the decks) so if anybody knows where you can get them, let me know. Cheers.

Well unless I threw them out until about 3 yrs ago there were some in the old farm building we ran the haulage from , when I speak to family still at home I will ask if they are still there.

Cheers mate but I didn’t mean full size Club spec lights
,The type we used to have were 24 volt, about an inch in diameter 4 lights joined together in like a 4 inch circle in different colours.
If you mean the old club Strawb lights it will look like I’m going down the M6 in slow motion
btw You’re right, I will probably look like a plonker, but only if I’m driving in my old 70s John Travolta white suit and Elvis shades…
Have a look on the All Ride website…They sell all manor of useless, tasteless crap! Do they have a Turkish division? My dad still has a pair of high heel boots from 1975 in the attic somewhere if you want them… Fit a steel toecap and you’ll be well away.

As for the boots, thanks but I didn’t say that I wanted to go back to the 70s, I don’t think my girls would appreciate me embarrassing them (again) if I rocked up in a pair of Jason King boots

Think have something like that in my shed all you will have to do it fix it all together IIRC as just the tube with all the lights separate was supposed to be a project for someone you can fix a 12v or 24v to end to plug in
