Had an agency driver by the name of Hugh use my regular truck for a trip to Belgium on Sat. The previously pristine interior was left filthy & littered even though cleaning materials were available. Also my bedding was used & various small items are now missing. The bonus though was finding Hughs spending money left amoungst the rubbish, thanks that will keep me in bacon rolls for a fortnight

hey triple . i am back to work this monday coming and am dreading it after 3 months off… my unit was left so you could have your dinner off the floor but from what im hearing am gonna have to spend a long time on friday getting it ship shape for monday … to me its a total lack of respect on the other drivers part… you can always tell the state of a drivers house by the state of his cab !!
once found a security guard had been sleeping in one of my old trucks , i threw the sleeping bag away and refused to have that night awy causing big lproblems with clients , oh and the guard got some crap , did not give him a wack because my boss said it was not him , I rang his boss at 530am in the morning to complain .
Also had another guy taking my tv out my cab to use at night whilst on duty ,he got sacked for thief afterheswitched off the cameras and raided the warehouse .

i think thats a bit much calling him a grass 
the security guard was paid to do a job but decided to go sleep instead he deserved to lose his job theres plenty out there that would love to do his job 
i for one applaud what he did and think we need more people like him

I had an agency driver once get into the truck i was driving and go to bed , when i got to work i checked my ruck over and started to drive, two hours into my journey and got the fright of my life when he woke up . didnt even realise he was there, but when the curtain suddenley pealed back and a head popped out i kacked it , he had to stay with me all day until i got back to the yard and didnt get paid for the job he was meant to do, The reason he was there is that he couldnt get transport home after getting back late and tried all the wagon doors to get his head down for the night and found mine which wouldnt lock

So instead of contacting “Hugh” and recovering the missing items, & getting him to pay for the cleaning etc, you stole his spending money … surely 2 wrongs don`t make a right

Some people just cant help them selves …i would spend his money deserves it thief.
trouble is , lack of respect becomes a two-way thing. Initially I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt until they bother me in some way.
once had an agency driver use my truck for a week while i was off,
i believe he was a college lecturer from north of the border and would drive during holiday periods, i got back in it on the monday to find it as clean (if not more so) than when i left it and im ocd!
just thought i would balance it out 
It’s comical how agency drivers are treated with such venom. There’s a few full time drivers where I work could only dream of working in the real world but look down their nose at me as I’m agency and have been for the last 7 years. These are the clowns who grass up anyone for the slightest thing who have never had a proper job and would do better to get on with their own job than worry about someone else’s. If he stole the gear you said he has then you have every right to moan and he should not be allowed near any of your companies trucks again but to steal his money then brag about makes you the same.

As an agency driver I hate getting a cab like this. I always try to leave a unit as I find it but in this case it doesn’t matter what you do it won’t be good enough.

I was talking to Hugh in the baghouse, he said he had been driving a truck that smelt worse than the tarts handbag 
I was over the moon when I got a 62 plate kept it as clean as the day it came out the factory, dint even smoke in it was dead proud. Then in jan they said they would need to start using it at night when I was home… Fair play, its not my truck… As the weeks have gone by its developed a mysterious red scratch n dent on the bumper a cracked fog light and bent rear wing… Its perhaps been used 10 times since jan, only twice it came bk clean and the guy that drove it on those nights looked a right scruffy get (dnt judge a book) most times it comes bk with me kettle spilt on the floor and rubbish in the door pocket (even know I have a bin) and the floor covered in mud, this morning even had mud on the inside of the window screen! Really grinds my gears. And to make it worse the times it comes bk worse have been with employed drivers, so I can’t even have an agency moan lol! I’ve even had blokes take the ■■■■ out of me for it being so clean… Surly that’s not right? I got trusted wiv a brand new truck I’m hardly gonna treat it like a stable am I!
