I’m supposed to be starting there in a weeks time though agency. 4 days training and was told the trucks are automatic gear boxes and nice bit of kit. Bit of a worry though as Seems that EVERY agency round here are advertising this job.

no not at all if you read my post you would have noticed that i was annoyed as hell at sean for shafting me with that price for the job, and i never got caught like that again, but you in stobbies for the rates they are paying is a joke.
we used to get alot more than that and a guaranteed 12 hours no matter what, till they got depoel in . they tried getting de peol in at crick, but they were kicked out within 2 weeks cos stobbies couldnt get any agency in, now they tried it at wakefield and with poeple like you going they are lauging all the way to the bank.
do you know stobbies own drivers will be on more than you on the bank holidays and not far behind you on sundays.
while theres people like you going in on these jobs they will get away with it.
fair play sat rate is ok, but sundays and bank holidays and the rest of the week no way. the rates are crap.
also shop about for your work cos sean is crap.
you want the rates of £9.50 on days plus time and half after 8 hours, nights is £10.50 plus time and half after 8 hours mon to fri, sat should be £13.50 all hours, and sunday is £18.00 all hours.
by that going into stobbies you are losing £36.00 on one shift alone on a sunday at 12 hours which is stobbies minimum shift because i know you are only getting £15 ph on a sunday.
in fact ive been sent the rates through the post so when i get 5 mins tomorrow i will post the letter up.
If coke at edmonton is the same as Wakefield they are 26 ton Stralis’s with rearsteer. A doddle to drive and very easy to manouver, even got cameras for revesing.
