Directions DFDS Felixstowe

Shipping DFDS Felixstowe to Holland tomorrow. Haven’t shipped that way in 18yrs so need directions into the port. Will be coming via the A14.

When you get to the end of theA14, you will come to a big roundabout with traffic lights on, go right, under the bridge that says welcome to the port of Felixstowe, take the first slip road (about 250yds past a layby) keep to the left on the slip road, go under a bridge where the road forks, keep left, you will pass a BP garage on the right, then you will come to a roundabout, go straight across the roundabout, you will come to the security hut, you can stop there and ask, but basically you will come to another roundabout that yo go straight across and this will take you into DFDS.

Thanks kindle. Followed your direction on google maps too and it looks straight forward enough. I have a 9.5 drive to get there and didn’t want to mess about taking a wrong turn being so close.

No worries, if you see an HC Wilson motor, or a Hannon from Ireland motor near Fxto just tag onto the back of them, as they ship in\out of there a lot.

:laughing: :laughing: That reminds me off once many years ago, a lad I used to run with alot was following me on the A12 Felixstowe bound, I had a CTR rental tilt on, as we pass Colchester, he says on the CB “we going to Harwich now”, I says “no, why”, “well I’ve just followed you onto the 120” he replies, "I’m on the A12 mate, you’re following someone else :unamused: ", thats quite a long way to turn around down there aswell :wink:
