you got a road name or number■■?
i thought, they were just off j29, the turn off for the a127, they had a place, just east of the 25, at warley, i knew that yard. could that be it■■?
Like you said come off jct30 and take a13 east ( london ). Take next exit off a13 and then right at roundabout at top of slip. Go over top of a13 to next roundabout, then straight on. Turn right after about 100yds signposted ockendon/aveley. Follow road for about half a mile to roundabout and go straight over then follow for another half mile to next roundabout and take 1st exit ( sth ockendon). You will then go over top of m25 and cheps is a few hundred yards on the right. If you see a stobart motor heading that way then follow him as they are on same site.
They swapped yards from warley about a year ago now, still the same 2hr wait during the week.
Lee, thanks for that.
Is it not possible to exit the A13 onto the A126, then left onto A1306, then left onto the B186?

(given up trying to embed it).
M25, onto A13 west towards london.
come off at 1st junction and turn right onto A1306
go up to traffic lights and turn right onto B1335
go over 2 roundabouts keeping on the B1335
go over the M25 and GKN is about half a mile up on the right
just after a caravan place
When you pull into yard go past security hut and folow road round left and then right. After about 100 yds you will go through a set of gates in to cheps yard. Stop here and go to portakabin on the right to book in. You then follow the path through the pallets (which changes weekly as they move them around) around the outside and will end up back at the portakabin where they will load you. Hope this helps.
It is also possible to go your way, there are no weight limits but most trucks seem to go the other way. Not much in it time wise i would say.
Thanks very much for your helpful input guys
Lee, i notice you have edited one left to a right no wonder i was confused because i’d seen there was no left at that round about.
I just thought my way looked simple, but didn’t know if any weight limits. However, BD’s way sounds straight forward enough… just depending on what that High St is like on a Saturday lunch time. I’m going to be pressed for time.
I’d looked for the site on Google earth so your on-site instructions made sense. Thanks Lee. Is it a hard hat site?
Now all i gotta do is do it from Liverpool in 5 hrs driving. so 5.45 total.
Yes you right about the edit, been a long day. I would go with bd’s route and you wont see any traffic on that route. I have done tilbury to liverpool in 5hrs driving, leaving at 1 in morning so it can be done. Good luck tho.

Doesn’t seem so actually 'cos you can’t go left onto the A1306 off the A126 because the the A126 is on an over bridge. Thanks Google Earth!
BD’s way is spot on, dead easy, & i realise now it doesn’t go near the HIgh St.
