I’d appreciate some advice here chaps and chapesses. Two or three years ago my son worked in the transport office at Stobbies at Teesport, while he was there he put forward his Mothers and his Sisters names to go on the front of Stobbies motors.
Anyhoo, the Mrs phones me today and tells me that she’s received a certificate saying that her name is now on a Scania so I thought if I see it I’ll take a pic for her. Now I have no axe to grind with Stobbies and see them just as A.N.Other company, however, my dilemma is that if I’m spotted taking pictures of a Stobby truck will people assume that I’m a spotter? Frankly I couldn’t live with the shame so have thought that maybe I need some sort of disguise (perhaps a camper van, some women’s clothes and maybe Vern Troye as a sidekick)?
Don’t do it! You may not be a spotter now, but all it takes is one picture and you’re hooked. It’s like lorry smack. Apparently. So I’m told. By my mate. Honest.

you will take the 1 picture…then you will take another just now and again, then you will only take them at the weekend, then itl be to relieve stress midweek…the next thing will be going on internet forums and talking ■■■■■ about trucks, theres only one place your heading for now mate, and that’s eventually losing all self respect and working for stobrats…where do you go after that…rehab at clacket lane grubshop,or ending up as a rdc waiting room Viking…its a slippery slope after you’ve taken that 1st pic even if your wearing a balaclava, schnorkel jacket, and shades…just say no!!!
