Just passed my class 1 today. Got to finish my cpc now.
Apologies for the “newbie” question but can I send the form off and payment now to get my digi tachograph card or do I need to wait until I’ve completed cpc before I can get one?
And do I send my licence with the form?

You can send for the driver card now, assuming that you have a photo card drivers licence you do not send your licence with the application form, the photo for the driver card will be taken from your licence records at DVLA.

My digital card arrived yesterday and I have only passed the theory and hazard perception my training starts next week.
So I say get the application sent off
or another way to think about it,7.5 tonne drivers with a car licence need a tacho card
