Digital question

When you exchange a digi card for one with a new address on it,it is advised that you download the card before it is handed over. The question is,that the card with the old address on,has no driving or any activity on it(Un used),would it still need to be downloaded for my own records, and future roadside checks?
Second thing is,that Spain is only EU member that requires a manual start and end shift location entry, relative to regions and what county of Spain you start and finish in.How would you know what region you were in,if you start early in the morning, without asking a friendly local,or in the middle of nowhere.Legally,if stopped later, what would be the consequences of failing to input correct data. And how much for the fine?

If there is no data on it there is nothing to download so don’t worry about it.

Knowing the Spanish a big, big fine, and double big, big in the Basque region.

as your driving along any main road in spain you will see a massive sign that announces what region you are entering, also clue is the road numbers, so if for example you are on the CL101 you put CL as your end location or MU something or PV something if you are in Vascoingles neighbourhood :sunglasses:
only 19 regions and 2 are island groups so not hard to look on map and see if you in M madrid, V valencia and so on.
failing that its legal, i think, to book off as EU because you are not sure of location but i think coffeeholic will correct that if its wrong

just in case you need the codes
