Hi Guys, and Gals, starting a new job on Sunday first day out with an analogue then on Digi for the rest, I have one, but have never used it, any advice or a site that explains the use and pitfalls. Are they hard to get the hang of?

i find them a lot easier to use than the charts now,easier to keep an eye on your driving time for breaks etc.just push it into the machine the right way,arrow towards to tacho & chip up,enter your shift start time once it’s done it’s thing,if you’ve been doing other work or just waiting around to start & been on poa,once that’s in then it’s pretty much away you go.no need to do print outs on a night as all the info is stored on the card.
The digi is easier than the ■■■■. Just put it in the correct slot, the right way up and round then off you go (after completing your checks etc.) How much driving it thinks you’ve done - press any button quickly whilst driving (on Siemens) and don’t forget to download regularly.
