on our trucks we have been an hour behind on the digi tacho so when the clocks change (this weekend ?) they will read right again question is can the time be alterd on the digi tacho during the summer so they show the corect time our manager says not ? i no how to change the time on the truck just wonderd if it was poss to change the digi taco time
No, digi tachos record in UTC, Universal Time Coordinate which is near enough the same as GMT, all year round. Without a workshop visit the time can only be altered by one minute per week. You can change the time shown on the tacho display to show local time, it’s in the menu, and the time will have a black dot next to it when it is showing local rather than UTC
AT least for us we get half the year with it on the same as local time, in most of our near continental neighbours they are either one or two hours behind local time all year.
