not on mine vdo.when you do 4.5hrs then 45min rest it resets after that i have to do a printout or make a note of the driving time before you have a rest

If you have totally lost track of your total hours for the day, you can do a print out at any time and that will tell you. As the poster above said, there is no warning for it.
Scroll down past printout until you get to ‘display driver one’.
Press ‘ok’ for 24hr and date and then scroll down the details. It’s all there.
Your total drive time is at the far end of the scroll.
You don’t need to print to read.
