We have recently started using a digi tacho and noticed that whenever you are stopped at lights or in a traffic jam then the tacho records other work rather than driving.
If you are allowed to drive for 9 hours in a day then does this mean that the hours recorded by the tacho are incorrect or can they be relied upon for total driving hours?

What is recorded by the digi-tacho are the records that may be used in court against you (if you make an error ).
So the only timing you can rely on is the timing of your digi-tacho.
