can any one tell me what ERROR CODE 41 and ERROR CODE 50 means on a digi tacho please . mine was working fine but got these codes yesterday ■■
As the two specifics are not included on the original post (which came from the EC Regs) here they are;
41 Card Communication error
50 The card cannot be read or written to
In other words your card’s shot and should be returned to DVLA (for UK issued cards) so that you can get another.
You have 7 calendar days to report a faulty card.
You may drive on upto 15 calendar days whilst waiting for you replacement card. Just remember to do the printout at the start of the journey and one at the end. Write your full name, driver licence number or driver card number and sign the printout. Keep printouts with you as if they were charts and hand them in to employer within 42 days of making them.
