Digi printout and agency

im working on the agency at the minute, now the customer im at have said that i have to have a printout for the previous 28 days work because if you are stopped by vosa and they download your card it wipes it.

it all sounds like â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  to me. the data is kept on your card for a year dont matter how many downloads.

what do you all think.

Definately â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  JD.

The data will probably still be there next July. Geebee45 answered this very question recently

Hi Alex,

I think you’re right.

I also think that Neil might have an opinion on this. :grimacing:

Then ROG will turn up and it’ll be the customary two pages-worth before we know it. :grimacing:

ROG:

 :open_mouth: I wouldn’t write that about a Mod’s post if I were you ROG. </Tongue-in-cheek mode>   :grimacing: :stuck_out_tongue:

Sod it JD I’d just do it anyway, will cost them a bloody fortune in digi roll, I’m sure they’ll soon stop the not needed practise of doing it

To print out 28 days will use 3 rolls of paper,a while back one of our shift managers went on a course and came back and insisted we always carry 3 rolls in case we were required to print the last 28 days out :open_mouth: ,that said, this is the same SHIfT manager who told me i could do three weeks of 6 days on the bounce :open_mouth:

thought so.   sounds like usual crap that dhl would come out with.

What they’ve told you is absolute rubbish, I use my card 5 days a week and it’s downloaded every 28 days, the last time I checked which was about a month ago I could still read the data from November 2009.

Might take three rolls, might take one, might take five, your manager is a trumpet.

Maybe not a complete trumpet, you can. I’m currently on what will be my seventh consecutive week of six days.

I think that was the one where the manager said the driver could do a 6 day week every week from Mon early AM to Sat late PM !! or the driver could do two in a row like that on a regular basis and then make it all up at the end of week 3 - I’m sure it was something like that…

I use my digi card 4 days a week, got stopped the other week by traffic and the data on the card only went back to march - so rougly i’d say it stores 3 months of data depending on use.

castleford by xscape, im on with taskmaster. its not the same taskmaster as years ago, im not impressed with them.

Thats the place where you can’t drive a tractor unit if you’ve only got class2, JD I was on there when I did agency, it was steady away, ask the gaffer there if he wants his orange hi-viz back, they cost £11 each  . If you look for agencies avoid Whiterose the conning [zb] Dave still owes me £450 holiday pay.
