Seriously?
Whatever your sodding start time is
Start at 2 put it in at 4. Get a 2 hour head start off the card…
I think the op wants to know what times are considered to be a night shift ,and what times are considered to be a day shift. iirc nights are 11pm -4 am ,and night shifts are restricted hours (10hrs driving ).■■? I`m prepared to stand corrected
10 hrs driving twice a week

Only if there isn’t a opt out agreement, possibly.
Quote:
WTD(RTD)
-Working time is limited to 10 hours in any 24 hour period if any work is carried out at night time. The UK Government has announced that through collective agreement the 10 hour limit can be extended. (Night time is defined as between midnight and 4.00am for workers in the road freight sector and 1.00am and 05.00amfor workers in the bus and coach sector)
Hope this ends any confusion

The law requires you to start recording your duties when your shift starts
If that shift includes any part of the period from midnight to 4am then you come under RTD night rules which can be opted out of
RTD night rules refers to 10 hours of work not shift time of 10 hours
