I’d say there’s every chance that it will still work fine, as long as it’s not physically damaged I can’t see why it shouldn’t.
I’ve never heard of data being washed off a smart card but your hours could have taken a tumble

I know someone who did the same thing and their card worked fine, and did smell summery fresh as well.
