Digi card stuck in Stoneridge Tacho - Solution?

Does anyone know the secret on removing a card from a Stoneridge Tacho Unit.

59 Plate Scania. Will not eject using the regular method.

Had a flat battery earlier today and Tacho Head displayed, " Power Failiure"

Any help would be grateful.

12 hours and counting

You’re never going to get it back! :open_mouth: once batteries are involved :unamused: bye bye digi :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

Our work shop has been known to force them out then replaces the unit! Not a job he cannot do without a flat screw driver you know!! lol

do you have the operators handbook?

on some tacho heads, there is a hole that you can put a pin in to it to manually eject the card

Had quite a few with a “stuck” card.

And every one without exception has been put into “driver 2” slot and not had the right eject button being pressed.

Do not know if it will work but try this

Turn key off remove key replace key set key to on but don’t start engine press button 1 and hold

Leave it in there, go home and watch the money roll in.

there are 2 screws ,i think its on the top of the tacho ,1 for each drawer, thing is once used to screw our the drawer for card removal tacho is u/s
