Hope the weather is as good where you are as it is in sunny yorkshire 
Just a quick question both from newbies from experience & trainers & others with opinions!
As a new driver you obviously need to get yourself a digi tachograph card but the question is when to apply for it? I have the form all filled out I just need a photograph to be signed etc…But the question is do you send it off once you’ve passed the test or right before? Seems a silly question but I want to get into driving work as soon as I get passed so the quicker it gets done the better.

I advise applying for it about 2 weeks before Mod 4 or the driving test - which ever comes later. That way you’re ready to roll straight away.
The argument is that the time is ticking away on the digicard. This we know. But we also know that it’s £38 spread over 5 years. A drop in the ocean relative to the training costs and the potential inability to work if you haven’t got the card.
Strangely, I’ve had a run of folks who are under the impression they have to hold digicard to train. (BTW, you don’t).

Thanks Peter, Thought it would be something like that. Will be applied for when it comes to doing my Mod 4 test 
Granted i’ve still to do my Mod 2 yet but have wanted to get the driving bit out the road first Plus from then on I’ll be ready to roll after a month or so.
Glad the weathers nice there too!
